On September 22, 2015, The 16th China Actuarial Annual Conference was held in Beijing, themed with “Fusion Development For A Bright Future”. China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) President Xiang Junbo and CIRC vice-president Chen Wenhui attended the Annual Conference and made their speeches. Xiang Junbo pointed out that China Insurance Industry and Actuarial enterprise are entering the golden age; the actuaries shall integrate industries, technologies and various forces to promote the industrial transformation and upgrading and to accelerate the conversion of China Insurance Industry from a big one to a powerful one. 

During the Annual Conference, the actuaries discussed the reform and development of global solvency system, and pointed out that the actuarial technical progress will boost China’s economic development, and the actuaries’ sound integration in solvency and risk management will guarantee stability and safety of the finance and insurance agencies and boost industrially stable and sound development.

China Actuarial Annual Conference, hosted by CAA since 2000, is a major platform for both of the domestic and overseas actuaries to exchange and cooperate, with view to spreading the actuarial concept and promoting the actuarial value. The leaders from International Actuarial Association (IAA), some international, national or regional actuarial organizations (from the USA, UK, France, Australia, Japan, Chinese Taipei, etc.), relevant departments of the CIRC, and some CIRC Bureaus, and the delegates from insurance companies, securities companies, banks, consulting firms, etc. also attended the Annual Conference.
